These sponges are great for almost anything. They are reusable and easy to clean.
This Dollar Tree Facial Scrubber is worth the dollar I paid for it. Super soft, gentle exfoliation and cute!
I love the scent of this Dove body wash. Even if you don’t have sensitive skin, this body wash is bomb!
A moisturizing polish remover… amazing!
I wrote a post on this and it’s still my favorite.
Super cute color for Spring/Summer. This has been my go-to polish.

Hey Ya’ll! I have had some trials when it comes to my skin. I’m 32 years old, I realize that I really don’t need to use all of these products to preserve my skin.
Some of the issues that I have are
♦︎ Dry skin
♦︎Blemish prone skin
♦︎Oily (usually during summer)
I wanted a skincare routine that met all of my needs but in a minimal way.
Since I have dry skin I wanted to get a cleanser that was moisturizing and softens. This Neutrogena Naturals is a cleanser and makeup remover… Yaaasss! It gets rid of all my face makeup without leaving my skin dry and tight.
This is an oldie but goodie and I am glad I found it again. It’s a great toner and gentle cleanser. It has 14% alcohol but it does not dry out my skin.
I have been using Simple for about a year. I love this moisturizer because there is SPF in it. I like that doesn’t give a white cast on my face, it blends in well and it is perfect for under my makeup. I only use this during the day.
I. Love. OliveOil. I use this mostly at night, it works so well at sealing the moisture in from my cleanser and toner. It helps soothe my dry skin and it removes my eye makeup very well.
I’ve had this for a while and It’s a staple in my routine. This along with my face brush has lightened up my dark spots.
All of these products are under $20, so there are super affordable. Here is the review of the face brush!
Hey Ya’ll! Long time huh? If you don’t know we had Hurricane Harvey come through Rockport, Houston and surrounding areas. Needless to say it was tough but we didn’t experience any damage to our home. Thank God! If you want to donate, here is a link to JJ Watts Relief Fund for Houston and surrounding areas.

2 Timothy 2:22-24
“Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts. Again I say, don’t get involved in foolish, ignorant arguments that only start fights. A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people.”
Temptations come at our weakest moments in life. It looks good and harmless but it’s very deceiving. When we find ourselves in God, he can help us to stay away and lead a righteous life. The people that we hang with can lead us down the wrong path so we have to be strong enough to say no and not be pressured into sin. We have to show the love of God and not get caught up in the foolish things of this world.
We all want to make our lives as simple as possible. With so many things going on in one day, sometimes the simplest tasks can become overwhelming. So here are some life hacks that can make your day a little easier…
Stinky Garbage Disposal
So at some point the garbage disposal will have odor from all the food that is chopped up in it. Here is a way to keep it smelling fresh and clean…Lemons. Yes, Lemons, cut them in half and run the garbage disposal and it will smell fresh for up to two weeks.
No More Makeup Highlight…OMG!!!!
Don’t fret you can use any shimmer eye shadow of your choice from a palette with your brush and apply. But don’t forget to blend, blend, blend!!
Out of Color Corrector
Red lipstick can be used to get rid of dark under eye circles. You can use either a brush or apply the stick directly to the skin, blend out that red color. Then apply your concealer and voila…no more dark circles.
Clear Nail Polish
So for my ladies who wear stocking or panty holes clear nail polish will help stop the run. Apply it to the end of the run and it won’t go any further. Also, when wearing a button down shirt and one of the buttons looks like its about to come off, apply the polish to the thread and it won’t unravel.
Love the Candles But Not the Smoke
We love candles and sometimes we don’t have a match, but we have dry spaghetti in the pantry. You can use the dry spaghetti as a match and light the candle. Also, when blowing out the candle the smoke can be irritating because it lingers long after the candle has been blown out. So use the top that came with the candle and put it on top of the lit candle and snuff out the flame and the smoke stays trapped in. F.Y.I…when you go to open the candle next time to light it, it won’t smell like smoke just the candle.
We hope that these life hacks can help you just like they have helped us make our lives just a little bit easier! Have you tried any of these hacks? Let us know!!
