Quick Review: Trader Joe’s Nourish Spa Shampoo and Conditioner

Hey Ya’ll!  I finally got my hands on the Trader Joe’s Nourish Spa Shampoo  and Conditioner. Yaay!!! The reason why I wanted to purchase the duo is because I wanted to try something different.  Also I watched countless YouTube videos and read a couple of blog post, so I was compelled to try it for myself. Here is my two cents…

Nourish Spa Shampoo

Pros

– Great Smell

-I loved how it cleansed my hair and scalp… squeaky clean

-Has a really good lather

Cons

– Bottle is not big enough

I love this shampoo so much. It won’t replace my Shea Moisture shampoos but it is real close. Hopefully Trader Joe’s comes out with a bigger bottle soon.

Nourish Spa Conditioner

Pros

-Makes my hair easy to detangle

-The consistency is all that and then some… It coats my hair and I like that.

-The smell is pretty good.

-It is great as a leave in.

Cons

– Contains a silicone (Dimeticone) Sad smile

I love the conditioner as well but the fact that it has a silicone in it makes it a no-go. My hair didn’t react negatively to the conditioner and I used it as a leave in.

In conclusion, I would definitely repurchase the shampoo hands down. There is nothing about it or the formula that I don’t like. The conditioner is a different story. I personally try to stay away from silicones. Over time my hair will not be very happy and we all want happy hair right?

Much Love,

Dyon
